Education and Qualification
- Please read the official Notification for educational qualification details.
- Elementary Phase (Class I to V): Candidates who are Senior Secondary, or equivalent with at least 50% or 45% marks / Pass or Diploma in Primary Education as per NCTE 2002 Standards / B.El.Ed (04 year course). Diploma in Education (Special Course, for 02 years) / B.Ed (1 year) / Diploma in Primary Education (1 year) will be eligible for CTET examination.
- Secondary Phase (Class VI to VIII): Candidates with Bachelor Degree (with at least 45% or 50% marks) / 2 year Diploma in Primary Education / Diploma in Education / B.El.ed. /B.SC.Ed / BA Ed. / B.Ed. This will qualify for the CTET exam.
